I have started meditating since I quit my job as a university tutor. I missed my job, but I had to stop working due to some medical condition which I am not going to describe here. My doctor (Dr Panchadcharam Selva Subramaniam) then asked me to take up meditation, and so here I am.
When it all began, I started to be mindful of what I call “mindless chatter“. It’s really hard to quiet the mind. In fact, that is one of the problems or sticking points that most beginners face when it comes to meditation, astral projections and quantum jumping. I am fortunate that I was then exposed to a meditation technology known as “brainwave entrainment” which then kickstarted my journey into the spiritual realm of meditation and self improvement. I am really thankful to Dr Selva for this. Without his help, all these benefits would not be possible.
Now if you are new to brainwave entrainment then you might be fazed with all the different products and meditation technologies which claim to make a person go into alpha state quickly. Be careful that there are lots of companies out there which are just looking to make a quick buck. You have got to separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak, and look for the real deal when it comes to brainwave entrainment products.
I have been asked by Dr Selva Subramaniam to read the scientific proof behind the technology of brainwave entrainment -
The above link leads to a specific research group at Stanford University which works on figuring out the effect of meditation music on the human brain. Brainwave entrainment is a result from such endeavors in the academic world. I am grateful in particular to the founders of this excellent technology because without it I would still be struggling with my meditation. I used to envy those who are able to get into alpha state quickly – without binaural beats I would tend to struggle even to make my brain shut up.
Using Meditation Music In Yoga
I also use brainwave entrainment for yoga purposes. I have been learning yoga since I was a child, and in that respect I can get really limber. So what happens is that I put on an audio track consisting of isochronic tones and then start on my yoga ritual (sun salutations, downward dog, etc). I found that I get more limber by the day with meditation music playing in the background.
Brainwave entrainment music is soothing and pleasing to the ears. To some people, binaural beats may be jarring and cause some discomfort, but be assured that they are safe. Thousands of people are benefiting from this wonderful technology daily, and it’s still not too late for you to reap the same benefits. Start by searching in Google for terms like “brainwave entrainment“, “meditation music” and “neuroactivator“. You will be surprised at what you find.
Finally, if you are interested then you should check out some brainwave entrainment software which you can use to generate your own binaural beats. It’s fun, but definitely not for the layman.
